Beans Bon Coffee
I started Beans Bon as a coffee subscription in the first place. It has evolved into an open coffee platform to help new and small-batch individual coffee roasters reach the market and empower their business development.
The Market Gap
I conducted a Competitive Analysis with three leading coffee platforms to explore what was currently successful and what we could improve.
So I modified the product–Wanderlust Box. It is an indie coffee journey subscription in that coffee drinkers can match and try different coffee beans from the local individual, small-batch roasters across the US based on their preferences.
Key Takeaway
Testing period: 5 months
During the test, I took to different scale coffee roasters, and I realized you could only find the popular coffee brands on the leading coffee platforms, and the coffee options are pretty much the same.
Conversely, new and small-batch roasters are hard to get on the coffee platform. They need somewhere to share their coffee with the mass coffee drinkers.
So I turned the subscription product into a coffee Kickstarter service–Beans Bon Kickstarter, to fill this unique market gap.

UI Design
I have explored a new logo for Beans Bon that could represent the coffee farmers, the roasters, and the coffee drinkers with the icons.
Work In Progress
The project is still in progress, and reach out if you are interested in collaboration. Cheers!
